AIRCRAFT HISTORY

Constructors no 188, first registered 20/8/25. G-EBLV is now the oldest surviving example of the DH 60, the world's first mass produced aeroplane made for the civil private user.

G-EBLV was first registered to the Lancashire Aero Club, and was delivered to Barton (Manchester) on August 29 1925 by Alan Cobham. EBLV survived the war, and was restored to original condition by de Havilland at Stag Lane before being presented to the Shuttleworth Trust at Old Warden.
